Vidyavardhaka Composite Pre-University College, Mysuru

Under the aegis of Vidyavardhaka Sanga (Reg.) Institution like Vidyavardhaka High School was upgraded to Vidyavardhaka Composite PU College. It was a bold Initiative taken up by the Honorable Management Committee. The visionaries of this Institution started Arts and Commerce Combinations in the year 1980 with only 90 students. Gradually the number of students has increased over the following years, for the purpose of revolution in the Pre-University Education, this College was started. In the year 1991 Science stream was started for the purpose of catering the quality Education for the needy and backward section of the Society. In the year 2015 Commerce Computer Science stream was introduced. Our College is situated in the heart of the city and has completed its glorious 45 years and has become one of the prestigious Colleges in Mysuru. Our students are the Academic Ambassadors of our Institution and it has become a beacon for thousands of students in enlightening their bright future. Our students have participated at State and National Level in Sports and Cultural Activities and brought Laurels to the college. Our College having Well-equipped Science Laboratories Well established Library and Reading Room to enrich the knowledge of students.
